2022 Season

We didn't plan to be back on Ambrym in 2022, but plans changed, and we had 3 awesome months onboard!

During August, we revisited known and new places in the Ionian, as we have had many visits! Lloyd's dad, our friends Patri and Juan, and Martin.

September arrived for us with new adventures! We left Greece and on our very first night passage on Ambrym while we sailed up to Montenegro. After exploring the beautiful bay of Kotor we sailed North to Croatia.

Croatia in October surprised us with colder but very nice weather, not crowded anchorages, and beautiful places to visit.

We got new crew to help up sailing back to Greece, on another fantastic 2 night passage, and we spent the last 2 weeks in the water taking it easy in the northern Ionian while slowly getting back to the yard where Ambrym is waiting for us to come back on new adventures.

2020 Season

We started sailing in August 2020 from Achilleio, Greece.

We spent the following months doing some necessary arrangements and repairs, and exploring the islands at the Aegean Sea.

Winter and new lockdowns found us in Poros, not far from Athens, so we decided to find a winter home for Ambrym in a nice Yard in Aegina island. From here there are good connections to Athens.

We spent the winter at home, returning to Athens in May 21.

2021 Season

We got back to Greece mid May 2021, and after weeks of hard work in the yard (antifoul, boom repair, anchor windlass refit, etc) we finally got back in the water.

After enjoying some relaxing days in the area, we started our trip south around the Peloponnese Peninsula. We enjoyed it so much! The Peloponnese is beautiful, authentic, full of small villages and lovely anchorages.

After a break in Kalamata, we got the visit from friends for about 1 month. Together we continued exploring the west of the Peloponnese and the Ionian islands. These last, so different from the relaxing Peloponnese! Crowded, noisy but green and beautiful.

After some calm days around Lefkada island, Ana's parents joined us for some weeks and together we explored the Ambracian Gulf and some of the northern Ionian islands.

Soon 2021 season came to an end and we had to start planning the winter and how to make some money... when awesome opportunities arose!

Bahamas there we go!!
