Patreon... what is it and why?

You have probably read in our posts and in the website about Patreon. But you wonder... "What is it?" or "Are they really asking for money?"

We really enjoy sharing our adventures with you. Taking the pictures, thinking about the best way to transmit our experiences and the places we visit. As well as the troubles and all the work that we face. We put a lot of effort and love into it.

But it takes a lot of time! Pictures, posts, answering comments, keeping the website up to date, preparing the newsletter...

And Patreon is just a way to compensate for all this work. No, we don't expect to make money from it, and definitely not planning on being famous YouTubers . But keeping the website has some costs, and all the icecreams that we eat too!

So that's all we suggest: if you enjoy receiving our news, or spending some minutes following our adventures daily on Facebook or Instagram, or you just like the pictures we upload, you can support our effort with a little help. It's like you saying "Thanks, next icecream is on me!!" "Well done, I'll buy you a drink!"
